Researcher Spotlight |

Name: Elliott Hagedorn, PhD Department: Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology & Medical Oncology. Associate Member, Center for Regenerative Medicine (CReM) Research Focus: My group is broadly interested in understanding how cells move in and out of different tissues, which is important for normal development and physiology, but also has significant clinical relevance for targeting the delivery of cell-based therapies or preventing cancer metastasis. Why BMC: I think BMC is a truly unique place. The researchers and physicians here collaborate and support one another unlike anywhere I’ve been before, which I think is a direct reflection of the institutional mission and the patients and community that BMC serves. I was also drawn by the prospect of being able to contribute to the growth and evolution of the cutting-edge research operation within the Section of Hematology & Medical Oncology.
Favorite Movie: Not sure if I have a favorite, but we recently watched the new Wicked with our three daughters and I really liked it! |
