Researchers from BMC Found that Social Determinants of Health Impact Disparities in Colorectal Cancer Mortality

Research resident Sara Myers, MD, and colleagues found that county-level socioeconomic factors play different roles in rural and urban colorectal cancer deaths. The findings suggest that looking at specific social determinants of health could lead to more targeted, effective, public health practices.
